In this post, I’ll scrape LinkedIn jobs and understand the most in-demand skills in Data Science and Machine Learning job posts. With that knowledge, I’ll build a detailed 18-month study guide that you can follow to pave your way to data science mastery and get hired faster.
One of the most difficult things that beginners face when wanting to jump into Data Science is to understand where to start. With the huge amount of resources and opinions available on the internet, it might get extremely difficult or confusing to know which languages you should learn or which skills you should master. Adding to that, Data Science and Machine Learning are two particularly dynamic areas, where new technologies or frameworks pop up every year.
If your main goal is to get hired, then, one of the most important actions to take, when looking for resources to study, is to understand what types of skills companies are hiring for.
